
Tickets for Saintspeare will go on sale January 1
NOTE: S.T.A.G.E. Catholic Theater is seeking adult performers for their summer production, Flanagan's Boys. This is a musical rendition of the story of Father Edward J. Flanagan, Servant of God, and his mission to form Boys Town. We are looking for interested participants who have some experience in musical performance and a love for the faith. About Saintspeare:
S.T.A.G.E. Student Theatre presents Saintspeare January 20, 21, 27, 28 at 7pm, and January 22, 2pm matinee.
The production will be held in St. Teresa's Kaczmarek Hall, 36th and Randolph Streets. A humorous rendition of three of Shakespeare's famous plays set in a "Midwinter's Night Dream". The Bard's plays are intermixed in a wacky dream causing havoc for the main character, Beth. Using the wisdom of the saints, she sets out to resolve the dilemma, while her counterpart, MacBeth seeks to foil the night. Performed by students ages 9-13 years, with a dabbling of music and dance, this production will delight audiences both young and old.
Reserved seating recommended. Limited walk in seats will be available. You may contact Lee Hotovy at shotovy@msn.com to check on availability. Our theater seats approximately 80. Approximate 2 hour show with intermission. Appropriate for ages 5 and up.
STAGE Theatre has created an intimate and unique staging for this show, with dynamic costumes, set pieces, and a lively cast. Audiences will enjoy this unique venue as well as the performance. Tickets are $10/$8 and available through our online ticket service. Limited walk-in seating will be available but not guaranteed. Recommended reserved seating by purchasing online here.
